In a world seemingly gone mad, what with war, famine, floods, global warming, and genocide happening somewhere in the world everyday, I thought I would share stories of God moments. I am not talking about earth shattering I saw a burning bush or having seas parted, but the kind of stories that show us in a real way God is working in our lives. Many times we overlook these moments and write them off as coincidence. I truly believe that absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake. We have all been sent here for a reason and God designed us all to love one another, regardless of race, religion, or creed. At times this can be difficult, so in my own way I would like you to share your stories with me so that I can pass them on, and maybe together we can make this world a better place to live. Any action that shows us that God loves us is better than complaining about the state of the worlds affairs. What inspired me to do this you ask, well I was talking to Lauren and she shared with me a story about a friend of her's and I got goosebumps or Godbumps if you wish. Here's the story.
Her friend was sound asleep when she was awakened by a loud bang. She got up to check out what the sound was. She looked around the house and could not figure out what had caused the sound, before going back to bed she decided to check on her one year old daughter. She found her daughters head tightly wrapped in her blanket, so tight that she could not hear her crying, her daughter was slowly suffocating. What if she had not woke up? As for the sound, in the morning, she found the dry-erase board that was on her refrigator lying on the floor. Coincidience or God you decide. May God bless each and everyone of you. Love Gary

Family news
Here's a quick overview of what's going on in the boy's life.
As many of you know David was injured recently in Afghanistan, he is fully recovered and back to work serving and protecting us. It looks like he might come home in March, yea. Where he goes when he comes home is still in the air. Lauren, Mikayla, and Gavin are doing well. Lauren is looking at getting a part job at a Holistic center and raising two sweet kids. Mikayla will start pre-school next week. Gavin is just being a growing boy, he is wearing 12 month clothes already.
Jason is getting ready to transfer to Alaska, he will be going in November and it looks like he won't be going overseas anytime soon. Erica and kids will be moving up to Alaska in January. Erica is staying home and raising two beautiful children. Connor starts kindergarten this year and Lily will have her mom all to herself.
I want to tell David and Jason how proud of them I am. I am also grateful to them for their service to our country. Lauren and Erica get a big gratitude hug for their patience and sacrifices they have made. I love you all and thank-you!

I'm Here
Okay I have fought long enough, I will join the cool kids in the 21st century and try blogging. I am not sure how all this works but I will try it. I know my sister Megan has her delights section, but I don't know what anyone else has so I could use a few suggestions or ideas. This will force me to learn how to put photos and all that other stuff up.
